Blown 346 Posted June 9, 2012 Report Share Posted June 9, 2012 Im getting ready to buy a set of Pacesetter Long Tube headers for my 03 SSS. Can I use the existing Y pipe or do I need to buy another one?? I would like to use my factory cats without having a light come on after install.The headers I want to buy come with all mounting hardware and gaskets, Is there anything else I need to finish the job? JC03SS Posted June 9, 2012 Report Share Posted June 9, 2012 I don't know if u can use your y pipe because the pacesetters are kinda long. I have them on my truck I just cut the pipe behind my cats dropped in the headers welded high glow cats to the headers and connected back my stock setup. Went back a couple feet put on an x pipe and dials out by the tire. Pacesetter sells a y pipe so I'm sure it can be done. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
