SSilverBeast
I have a regular silverado 1500 (manual folding, power adjust, no signal, heat, or puddle light) If I bought power folding mirrors with heat and turn signal, what exactly would I need to do to get them to work? Any programming? Switches, Buttons? Thanks guys! -Thomas
jm3907
I think she wires for the turn signals are already there just gotta splice into it, not to sure about the folding or the courtesy lights
2001silverado364
I know you'd have to get a new door switch for the driver's side and I THINK some reprogramming.
SSBlue24
You would need the switch for the power folding and needs to be program for it to all work

SSBlue24
How do I program it? Like what do I use, where do I go? Your best suggestion would be the dealer......
2001silverado364
Dealer has to do it with a tech II. Only way I know of. Probably charge you 35-65 dollars depending on how they feel that day.
CHEVERE
if you already have power mirrors on a 03+ truck then it's just plug and play. if you want the power folding you need the correct dooor panels with the switches, i'm happy with just the turn signals
f1ss
Just adding my .02 cents here, I will be changing mirrors as the my glass broke and the gel is bleeding through the glass......I have a new power mirror waiting to be installed. With that said, you will need the power mirror swith like stated to fold in, out. And also the electrical work. This would be a great "how to."
