10sapphire
We have just purchased a 2003 SSS and are in the process of trying to get it registered in Australia. For our roadworthy certificate, they have to locate and see the unique engine number - not the block casting number. I can't find any info as to where that is located and they are not having any luck finding it..... just another hurdle! Any suggestions would be great. Blown 346
The only number I know of is the block casting number. Maxgasser. Block casting number will tell you if its a 5.3 or 6.
BLOWN SS/T
The other day when I was under the truck putting the headers on I saw one. I didn't think these engines had one. But if your under the truck you'll see it on the edge of the black towards the end (close to the cab) and I believe it was the passenger side.
