Smooth valve covers

So I started my valve cover project last week, good aftermarket valve covers seemed too expensive and I didn't want to have something everyone else had so I made my own! (yes I will be relocating the coil packs)

Started with my regular valve covers

Cut the nubs off using a portaband

Grinded off the remaining material

Used jbweld as my filler, works very nicely

Sanded off the excess material using a orbital sander first, then a 3m block with 80 grit then 180

Cleaned them and sprayed with 2k primer.

Monday they'll be sent out to Miller to get hydrodipped! Can't wait to see how they turn out.
