04Silv
Hey, Try NAPA. The 145 amp is listed as an option and they also offer the cable upgrade kit as well. The upgrade kit has all the parts you need (heavier ground/power cables) to take full advantage of the increased powey with factory ends. Bolt on! AdamVRed03
You can either get the plug that goes with the new alternator and repin the harness it take it back and get an alternator from an 04 suburban, they had the 145 amp alt with the 1x4 pin plug.... Or the police Tahoe 165amp... But no one seems to have that one available Does the 04 suburban 145 alt just bolt right up on my 03 SSS? Blown 346
Not sure if that will fit. The TBSS alternator will also fit our trucks, not sure if the plug will though, but mounting is the same, minus the clutch drive. But you can get a clutch less one. chpspecial
Does the 04 suburban 145 alt just bolt right up on my 03 SSS? Yes, but you will need to also get the larger serpentine belt to go with it.
