WHat do you guys think.. should I get 20 inch SS wheels, or go with 22 inch TBSS reps for my silverado? Mainly, the extra weight, they ride rougher from what I hear, and the tires are more expensive. At this moment I am leaning towards the 20" chrome reps. I do like that the 20's allow for a bigger sidewall on the tire. I do absolutley love the TBSS reps though. Both options you are looking at would look great, IMO. MARTYW Posted August 9, 2012 Report Share Posted August 9, 2012 That is good to hear. I was just going by what I have heard others comment on them. No personal experience myself. I like the 22s myself in the SSS or TBSS version. Another viariable on the 22's is how much tire you can run on them if you have a drop. I am installing a 3/4 on mine, so I would be limited to the size tire I could run without rubbing. Anyway, good luck with your choice. Make sure you post pics. skolman91 Posted August 9, 2012 Report Share Posted August 9, 2012 fwiw my stock 20s with bigger tires weighed just as much if not more than my tbss reps and tires, could just tell the difference when lifting them.. and 305/40-22 is the max ur gonna be able to run with a drop, mine rub my wheel liners pretty good when turning in places..
