GI.SS
Im curious how some of you are doing tow wise having a bumpstick in your truck. Iv been debating the idea for which direction to go with my truck and it comes down to driveability, reliability, and performance. Either to cam + heads or go F.I.? Im about to purchase a boat come tax season in the 20-22ft range. Tongue weight isnt the issue as that can be adjusted on the trailer. The question im having is who actually uses their truck as a truck with a cam and converter? Iv been looking into the NSSP cam 230/232 612 612 114 ..... thoughts? Downeast Johnny
Good question, Steve. I've got no answer for you but will be watching for posts from someone who knows more than I do.
JC03SS
I asked the same ? I was told with a 3k stall and a 223/230 581 590 I could still tow 4000lbs. I'm hoping this I'd correct.
GI.SS
Bump.... no one has an answer to this?
tim03ss
I just put in a 212/218 cam and i tow a 32' travel trailer RV. It seems to do pretty good. I'm on a stock converter. I just wanted a cam that i could use LS6 valvesprings and not worry about much driveability/reliability.
