f1ss
When I switched to the bigger filter my OP (oil pressure) dropped and I was sketched out. I will be returning to the normal sized filter.

f1ss
When switching to a bigger filter on my 330xi the mechanic had to add an extra quart 5w-20. That little BMW engine normally calls for 6 quarts, to have 7 quarts in a small engine compared to my LQ9 was astonishing. Then again the 330xi revs to 8-9000rpms conversely to our stock 6000rpms. I am not a mechanic, I am just going by experience and what made my vehicle run best.
