Hello Guys.

My truck is my for every day driver. I live in Ga and work in Va. I drive home two to three time a month. So you can see the gas mileage

is what I am looking for. The truck is supercharged with ram air. Anyone have any ideas.

i have 3.73's i like them. I have made many trips from NC to NJ and average about a tank and a 1/4 in the 7-8hrs of driving. but there are numerous things you can do to pick up fuel mileage, theres always maintenance. these things werent made to get good gas mileage. maby buy a bike or honda for the fuel mileage...

  • 5 weeks later...

I drive a 2001 chevy RC 2500HD 8.1L 496 as a daily and it gets about the same as my SS lol. But I do have a 2011 Stryker for gas milage on nice days. But then again I only drive 5 minutes to work.

figure its 2 grand ish to do the swap, what is your return on investment if you do get 2 mpg better? and are you willing to wait that long to get that return?(i have no idea what it is, just asking the question). If you decide to change directions and go for performance, are you willing to work around the gears or will you change back?
