stevet8754
i was looking into buying some software and the OBD2 cable to diagnose my own problems ( or friends lol ) and read/clear any error codes that might come up in my truck. i haven't done all that much looking but all i really found was stuff from china and Korea when i do a general search online. any specific brands or other such things i should know before i buy anything. 2006SilverSS
I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend. But EFI Live and HP Tuners are the big ones.
GI.SS
why not just get a regular obdII scanner from autozone? that will do what your looking for. If your looking at changing engine parameters and so-forth, HPTuners why not just get a regular obdII scanner from autozone? that will do what your looking for. stevet8754
I thought there was a laptop version to read/clear the codes. Just a USB cable to OBD2, and was relatively cheep lol But it does look like the scanner from advance or auto zone is my best bet. Thx. cb2big4u
Why not just buy one of those elm327 Bluetooth obd2 things. Reads a lot of info from ur pcm and can also read and delete codes. 20$ on amazon. Use it with ur smartphone or tablet. Or laptop for that matter...
