chawkins6789
What are some good things? Im looking into LS3/L92 heads and a bump stick. Not sure which one. It is a daily driver. Exhaust is a big thing. I want a true 3 inch or 3.5 inch system but which brands
rickyrick562
I believe 3.5" is too big
chawkins6789
I wasnt sure because I will be doing the LS3 heads, and a cam. Eventually a TVS 1900 or 2300. I'm trying to stay California legal too
The_aSSet
Dual 3.5? Way overkill. Dual 2.5" is enough for a 6.0 IMO. Single 3.5 or 3 would probably be fine.
chawkins6789
I was thinking single 3.5 or the Corsa Sport for the SS. Should fit my truck
matt 2k12
I have Pacesetter Longtubes 3" collectors coming to a 3" Pacesetter Y pipe that dumps under the bed. No cats only a small race muffler. Sounds sick with the Texas Speed drag cam. I am in Texas tho so no worries about emissions really. An X pipe is always best for exhaust flow (evens out the pulses) so eventually I would like to convert to true duals with an X pipe and then 2 dumps. Dont know if I will lose torque due to the loss of some backpressure but I estimate I will gain top end/maxHP and smoother powerband. Maybe do the 3" Pacesetters, 3" X pipe, and then taper off to 2.5" dumps for some small back pressure for bottom end. I havent found a 3" true dual or even 3" dual with X pipe option for our trucks and the LQ9 but I am sure they are out there. I even posted on here asking before and didnt really get any answers... Since it's my DD I dont spend as much time worrying about modding it.
JC03SS
Dual 2.5 should be plenty. Even with the supercharger. It won't be enough to miss believe me.
