Blown 346
I use the soft seal gaskets. I have used them on my race cars for years and the exhaust off and on probably a dozen times and they seal every time.
JC03SS
What brand do you use I want to give them a try. My exhaust sounds great minus the hissing. Are they copper?
Blown 346
The brand is soft seal, the are aluminum and can be used over and over again. The way they seal best is after they are tight for the first time, run them and heat soak them for the best seal. After that they will seal over and over again.. I never had a problem with them. I believe they are Protech brand. I g mine at Advanced Auto. Basically as long as they are aluminum those are what you want. The kit comes with 2 gaskets and bolt and nut hardware. Krambo
I've never had an issue using the crush-style Copper gaskets (any brand). The rest always burnt through in no time.
