K.Brown Customs Posted January 3, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2013 ohhh they are. the bulb goes in no problem but, being that more than 50% of the heat of a HID bulb goes forward. and being that they run non stop this is a problem. I'm pretty sure that if you used these bulbs with a 25w or 15w ballast, it wouldn't be a problem at all! it's just that these ballast are a tad expensive since they aren't that popular. 15w ballast are used a lot in rear projection TVs!
