JoseV
Hey guys I just got a 03 Silverado SS, truck works fine just one little problem; I noticed that when Im doing 70mph on the highway the RPM are running around 2500. Has anyone had this issue? Could it be that the torque converter is going out? Thanks in advance.
The_aSSet
What size wheels and tires are on it? Don't think that's too far off from what it should be
JoseV
Its the original rims. I heard it should be in between 1800 to 2100 RPM.
idahoBLKss
seems about right to me. awd ss has 4.10 gears
JoseV
So this is normal on the SS? 2500RPM @70MPH Due to 4.10 gears?

JoseV
Turns out my speedometer is off by 5, when its marking 70 im actually doing 75. That explains the higher RPMs. Downloaded Speed Box from the app store and tried it out on two other vehicles with accurate readings.
