Eddie
So, I left work at 12:38 today, went to lunch, and rode in my friends truck. When we returned at 1:08 I noticed my truck was "missing." When I got closer I saw what was left of my driver window on the floor in my parking spot. I couldn't believe it. I parked in a gated lot with security cameras. So I immediately called home and my wife tracked the truck with an Aercept gps alarm I had. I called the police and made a report. At the same time my wife was tell the California Highway Patrol where the truck was at. The guy drove it from Corona to LA where the CHP finally arrested him. Unfortunately when we was fleeing he crashed my truck into 2 parked car. I haven't seen my truck yet so I don't know the extent of the damage. I also watched him pulled off the freeway to get gas. My truck was almost empty. But, I had a locking gas cap so he put any in. He drove back on the freeway and the CHP found him shorty after. The police have him in custody now. I will update this post when I have more info. I haven't received the security footage yet, and I have to go see the truck to take pictures. ThatTallCanadian
Thats crazy! Sorry to hear bro. Glad he was caught very quickly, hopefully the trucks fixable, but at the same time, for me after a truck is violated like that I generally don't want it back. T-Bag
Fvk Eddie, let me know man how bad the accident damage is. If you need anything just text/call, I'm there. Shaking my head! I'm happy for you it was recovered unstripped, even happier the guy was caught, which never seems to happen anymore but worried the damage might be just as bad as if it were stripped. So wait you said you saw the guy pull in for gas? Was the chase on the local news?? And sorry Eddie, I know exactly what you're feeling, we both been where you're at now before. Again, if you need anything, do not hesitate to call me.

Eddie
So wait you said you saw the guy pull in for gas? Was the chase on the local news?? Thanks man. I'll be ok. Have to roll in the escort for a few days. With my gps I can see it on any computer or smart phone. So I was watching the signal move along freeway, then pull off for 5 min, and then get back on the freeway. Assh*le stole the wrong truck. I hope this incident prevents someone else's truck from being stolen. I hope I find out this f*ck's name.

Eddie
How does that tracker work and how much Here's the link. http://www.aercept.com/index.aspx# So, it can track you car on any computer or smart. Has a hidden gps transmitter with independent power supply in case they try to disconnect your battery. keep a 30 day history of top speed, location, etc. gives location on map, speed, and gps coordinates. From computer or smart phone you can kill the starter. if the truck is tow you are notified. and you can setup a "geofence" so if your truck leaves that geofence your are notified. I think it was $200 to install. and It's $25 a year. a small price to pay to have a dirtbag arrested within a hour of your truck being stolen.
