mikgsxx
Hey guys, i need some advice. I have a 01 silverado 2wd 5.3 with about 250k on it. runs perfect, doesn't even leak a drop of oil. Its been feeling a little sluggish. So im wanting to do a swap. i know the 6.0 swap would be easy but me being the person i am, i wanna take it a step further. I have a chance to get a full 08 6.2 engine, harness and pcm. for a really low price. I am a master tech and up for a little challenge, but wanted to see if anybody knew what all i would need to do to make this work. thanks guy! The_aSSet
Everything will bolt in, except i'm not sure if you can use the 6speed tranny and our reluctor wheels are different. Idk about putting a new style pcm in our trucks.
chpspecial
Easy project, everything will bolt up. You wont need the new pcm, just get the knock sensor harness extension, cam sensor relocation harness, and the lingenfelter 58x to 24x module, tune and your good to go
