Blazerdave2000
I'm currently in the process of installing my whipple charger. Is it normal after you install a supercharger or any other mod like a cam or any other major performance part for the check engine light to be on even after a tune? Seems like every time someone post pics up on here there check engine light is on. That would drive me crazy! Just curious??
Fireman31
Not normal, but not uncommon, it does happen....

Blazerdave2000
If it throws some codes can it be fixed by tweaking the tune? Or just something you have to deal with??
JC03SS
I'm sure it can be cleared up. Did you find a tuner?

You can't always fix it in the tune, sometimes it is something physical causing the light, a loose connector, etc. If the light comes on, depending on the code, you may have to go back over parts of the installation to verify that steps were completed and you didn't miss one. It happens......
