jddmj Posted February 18, 2013 Report Share Posted February 18, 2013 They recommend it, but I have never had to. I just move the wiring to where it takes up less room. I installed an appradio with a little fit issue, but it was due to extra wiring. The alpine went right in this weekend. Remember to pick up an antenna adapter too. Metra makes a great one.
