Blazerdave2000
I'm looking for a LQ9 it can be either a short block or long block don't matter. Also the engine can be blown up I'm just looking to rebuild the whole thing. If any of you guys have anything please let me know.
shawnss
LQ4 are some times easier to find. pretty much the same thing besides a few different parts. plus if yours going to rebuild it anyways. only difference is piston's and rods. unless you plan to keep the factory compression and factory LQ9 cam. Blazerdave2000
Thanks. So the actual block is the same? Everything is going to be different. Forged crank, rods, and forged dished pistons and can. Edited March 19, 2013 by Whipplecharged-03silverado (see edit history)

Get it bored and honed, throw it together in a couple days (once you get all the parts) and bam. New motor! Doing a 408?
