AdamVRed03
K guys my truck tailgate stopped opening. I have figured out that the right side bar that goes into the latch wing on the inside fell off. What I need to know if there are any tricks to get it back on with a new colored end connector with out taking the trim ring off. I have never had luck doing it and have broken several in the past on older gm trucks. Any ideas?
BLNAWAY
I don't think you can without removing the bezel

Bad Bowtie
If you end up breaking the bezel tabs, you can try using 3M double sided tab on the sides of you old bezel 1st (before buying/painting a new bezel).
AdamVRed03
That's what I was worried about breaking the tabs.. its only 40 degrees on a good day around here now so ill prob wait till it warms up a bit to take it off being less brittle.
