cwest94
When starting up the truck this morning the key got stuck in the run position after I let go, I could hear the started grind I was just curious to know if this has happened to anyone else or not. Its the first time for me. I guess I'll add that to the long list of things that need looked at too since I'll be taking it into the dealer this evening to finelly get my new stearing shaft after waiting almost 4 Months. dcairns
Did the key physically stick or just the starter stay engaged? Either way, it sounds like something to have the dealer look at.
cwest94
The key stayed in the start position in the ignition, and because of this the starter was still engaged.

cwest94
Well the dealer looked at it yesterday when putting in the new shaft and said they could not find anything bad with it, said to just keep an eye on things. I also have a problem with the light thats under the drivers side mirror not working. It goes off and on when you open and close the door, and to get the light to stay on you either have to hit it a few times, or open and close the door and they said they will need to re program the computer? It seems to me that its a short somewhere in the door or in the light, doesn't it??
