Up for sale is my rare 2006 Silverado Intimidator SS 2wd with 79,000 miles. It's loaded with leather, heated seats, sunroof, 6 disc changer and Xm, rear sliding window, power folding mirrors. It's in great shape and has no issues. The wheels are mint and have no flaws the Nitto tires have 10,000 miles on them and still look new. Just had bed liner sprayed in and the truck is ready for a new owner. Reason for selling is I am looking for C6.

I will post up some more pictures next weekend when I have time.

I may need to see this in person. Have buyers waiting on my truck even though I have no plans of selling it (unless its for a DEI SS).

What happened to the tranny? And did you put some servo's etc to build the stock one stronger?

We can set up a time to meet up if you do decide you want to check out the truck.

When I bought the truck 2 years ago the Trans was slipping when I test drove it at the dealer. So I bought the truck and then brought it back for the 2nd gear slip. They agreed to buy a stock replacement Trans and allowed me to change it myself and return the core.

The Trans was a new rebuild and I have the a paperwork it cost the dealer $2,400. The Trans is all stock. Whe I bought the truck I had a intercooled Whipple setup I have built and planned to put on the truck. So I just put this Trans in and left it stock because I had planned to do the Whipple and a 4L80e swap

But I was so happy with how the truck drove and preformed. I decided to leave the truck as is and just drive it.

Just let me know of you have any other questions. I should have more pictures up this weekend.

Thanks, it's a great truck and I really hate to sell it. But I have a 2500hd I drive everyday for work and I am finishing up a build on my 2005 regency rst. So I cant see keeping all three trucks.

Was this daily driven during your ownership (Im guessing the 2500hd was the winter vehicle)? Also was SS garaged?

Undercarriage pictures please. I also like your choice of mods, was going to do the same.

The one thing that is seriously holding me back is a certain company needs a completely stock SSS to create a new cat back and I have been in talks with them for about 6months. If I sell I would be throwing a chance of a lifetime out the window.

The 2500hd is my daily driver and winter vehicle my work is only 6 miles away. I drive the ss only when it's nice out and it's garaged the rest of the time. I would also drive the regency rst half the time. But it's all about for a ls6 turbo setup now.

But the truck does have is share of small scratches on the bed rails and a light front and rear bumper scuffs. I have to do a service on the truck this weekend so I will take some pictures of it while its up on the lift of the underside and get some interior and exterior shots.

  • 2 weeks later...

Damn it...I was just over in Massachusetts. Had to deliver a load to downtown Boston. I stayed over in Massachusetts for a couple days/nights, not in Boston though. There no where to park a full length tractor trailer in Boston. Closest parking I could get to was a flying j or pilot truck stop that was 60 miles away from Boston. The one on I-84 exit 1. I would have loved to come see this Intimidator SS in person. Too bad I missed the chance. I am west bound now for the west states.
