MARTYW
Hey guys, I want some input. I have a 3/4 DJM kit for my SSS that I still have not installed. I am planning to install it soon, but now we are looking at buying a boat this weekend. It is a 21 foot fiberglass deck boat. I would say in the 3k to 4k pound range. Anyone towed a boat or trailer with their truck lowered? Will have to get helper bags? What are your experiences or thoughts?
D1SCSS
I have a 2/2 in my SS and have towed car trailers with 3500 pound trucks on it with no problems.
JC03SS
You should have no probs towing a boat. If it weighed 7 or 8k I'd say yes. Your truck prob won't even sqat at all with that on it.

Sneakystiffler21
My standard height truck only squats about 3/4" with a 6500lb camper on it with almost 700lbs of tongue weight, you should be ok with a boat. I can hardly tell my 19' bass boat is behind the truck. If you find it does affect it or tries to bottom out after you drop it, you can always buy some helper bags for the truck and that will fix it. tim03ss
My truck has a 2/3 drop and when i hitch up my 5500 lb camper it actually levels out pretty close. I may do helper bags soon to help out the ride though.

hanly2
How did this work out for you? I have a 4" drop in the rear and my truck bottoms out all the time on the frame. Going to install these helper bags I picked up to help with it.
