feece08
I realise these things have been beaten like a dead horse the past couple months.....lol But I recently picked up a 1.0 from someone and its not helping me out any. If anyone has a 2.0 or 3.0 Dr x Link please give me a shout. battousai
If yall don't mind me asking, what is the advantage of an x-link rather than splicing in the new connector with the appropriate pinouts.?
canadianVRss
If yall don't mind me asking, what is the advantage of an x-link rather than splicing in the new connector with the appropriate pinouts.? You won't get %100 throttle position movement

chpspecial
If yall don't mind me asking, what is the advantage of an x-link rather than splicing in the new connector with the appropriate pinouts.? You can't just splice in the conector for a 6 pin TB from an 8pin. You either have to get the x-link, or use the TAC from an 02 suburban with DBW, and the speartech harness/repin. On some vehicles, it does not allow full operation of the TB. The x-link does. As for the v1.0 link, It was only designed to work with the LS2/7 TB, not ls3 and truck 90mm, hence why it isn't working. In addition, it is crucial that the 5v refrence wire be connected to a 5v source otherwise it will not work in any condition.
