patrick4317
Hey guys recently my truck has developed a squeak from the passenger front wheel. It gets faster as I speed up but the slightest touch of the brake pedal makes it disappear. I'm thinking either brake pad or wheel bearing. Any other thoughts? JC03SS
I think your right one of the 2. Easy to check. Jack up the front and wiggle your tire and you will see if its the wheelbearing.
patrick4317
Jacked it up no wheel play but tight when trying to spin it. Took caliper off and spun fine no noise. I'm thinking maybe grease the slides and keep fingers crossed
cb2big4u
Saw this earlier but the wife was bitchin to mow the grass. I was thinking brakes either seized, need grease, or just the little tab that starts squeaking when its time to change. Muggs
I think brake pads
patrick4317
The break pads will need to be changed soon but I'm relieved to know the hub will not seize be because of wheel bearing. I'll have to drive it a little now to test but I greased the caliper housing where the pads sit. May just replace pads and calipers soon.
