I'm getting an engine in trade for some labor and I'm wondering how I can tell which it is, the guy can't tell me for sure which it is. I'm hoping to figure it out without opening the engine up. I'll be changing the oil pan but other than that its going in as is.

Do you have the Vin of the vehicle it came off of? That's the only way to really tell... They are the same block with different stroke lengths
