HunkyDory
Time to start preparing for retirement and unfortunately need to find a home for our 2004 Silverado SS. This has been my hot rod daily driver now for a couple of years. When I bought it, it was THE lowest mileage Silverado SS I could find for sale in the U.S. at 39,000 miles. It now has approximately 93,000 miles on it. It was originally owned by an adult in Santa Rosa, California and traded to a dealer there. That dealer sold it at a dealer auction to a Chevy dealer outside Portland, Oregon. I committed to buy it over the phone after a detailed description by the dealer/seller over the phone. I warned him that if it was not as described I'd back out. I flew to Portland and he had someone pick me up at the airport. It was 100% what he described on the phone and so the deal was done for $20,000 and I drove it 1,800 miles back to Kansas. This is an unmolested factory stock Victory Red AWD SS. The only option that it doesn't have, if my memory serves, is it does not have the sunroof. I added a roll up high quality rail mounted vinyl tonneau top, mud flaps and a rubber bed map. For photos go to: https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos?tab=mq#photos/112333697245694794536/albums/5907421169228024785 NOTE: I do NOT pull our family boat with this SS. I did pull the boat out of the water with it once and it handled it fine. But it's tow rating is 7,500 lbs and our boat exceeds that so I use my sons diesel HD2500 for pulling our boat. This SS has NEVER been abused. NADA Retail is $15,525. Due to the high mileage I've got on it I'm selling for clean trade-in value of $12,725. What questions can I answer for you? I'll post interior pictures in the next day or so.

Grocery Getter
Yay another person joining just to sell there SS. We really need a post limit before people can create their own posts This is a good idea. 50 posts AND 1mo membership. Post whoring in the first month would result in infractions up to and including a ban It is a good price though..... WileECoyoteSr
Yay another person joining just to sell there SS. We really need a post limit before people can create their own posts Interesting. Of course you guys don't care to research a membership that started in May of 2010 when I researched the purchase of my SS? And Diggerdan, I see in your garage you have SOLD next to your 2005 hopped up SS. You have another one now? I would not have purchased an SS had it not been for the wealth of information I obtained in 2010 from this forum. Thank you to all who answered my questions, guided me on what to look for and clarified option compatibility and when certain options came and went. And in return for the counsel the members of this forum gave me I wanted to give them that love this marque the chance to own mine. Wouldn't you rather have a lead on a private party sale of a rig that has been owned by an enthusiast? Now the good news. I actually sold my SS to Franklin Spillman, the owner of EZ Go Motors, Arlington, TX. Of course he bought it for inventory, but at my asking price. As we left his company he shared with me that he was going to drive it for his personal demonstrator. We may have another enthusiast started. Signing off. Over and out.
