  1. Are you going to swap the hood pop lever as well?
  2. Somebody must be upset with you. There's nothing natural that could have dripped and done that
  3. I'm a member on TBSSowners and will say it's a big family over there. I sold mine a couple of months back but wouldn't think about leaving the site for anything. Besides TBSS nationals (where majority of the members show up and meet) Tony (NORCALSS) just runs a pretty tight ship. Just one example: http://www.tbssowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100173 We look out for ours! I never thought, over two years ago, I would be as involved with a site as I am over there. I am a moderator on that site as well, same s/n.
  4. Figured I'd get something mixed up. Thanks for the clarification. Haven't heard anything on dyno yet
  5. The one I saw running around here must've come from Alaska.......
  6. You do realize that HPT Pro is $650? http://www.hptuners.com/order.php I'll do a little digging today on the AWD dyno. I'll let you know something this evening.
  7. Ok on the first part, you've got a lot of time inferred with zippy, I understand that. The second part, I have no idea who you spoke with, but they have lost there mind. A $600-700 tune? NEVER! You might as well buy HPT and datalog. Unless you get a dyno tune.
  8. There are some instructional dvds you can buy and watch. I hear they're pretty good. Basic and advanced tuning. On another note, save yourself some money (instead of buying hptuners then paying someone to tune your truck) have you looked at any local options for tuning? (Nothing against Zippy. I've read all good things about his tunes) You have several of the best tuners within a short drive. Even a guy who helped develop HPT.
  9. Geez. LOL. I figured you may have been closer. Not a bad investment. I see it used once in a while for a decent price, usually with credits. Make sure to buy the professional so you can datalog and he can make more precise adjustments. I'm going to guess and say you are datalogging now?
  10. The child seat I bought had a recline for rear facing. My wife says she thinks the brand is safety first. It fits in my ext cab. I'm going to look it up. Ok, it is something like this: http://safety1st.djgusa.com/en/djgusa/safety1st/convertible-car-seats/guide-65-convertible-car-seat-cc078bnd--1 But we got it at Wal-Mart for $20 or less. Don't know of it was on sale or what. Still using it as my little girl is almost 2 and right at 30lbs.
  11. Isn't there a way that it'll possibly reset itself if you pull the power for a few? The TBSSs are finicky at times with this issue. Some guys get away with a free fix. ALLDATA wouldn't have it? Good luck!
  12. Good price. Mods? They're a LOT easier to find than a SSS. Plenty for sale on tbssowners.com check the classifieds. Stock to modded. I think there are two or three for sale here too.
  13. This is a good idea. 50 posts AND 1mo membership. Post whoring in the first month would result in infractions up to and including a ban It is a good price though..... GLWS
  14. Where are you located? I'm probably around the corner from you.
  15. I was being sarcastic. lol. They're almost dragging the ground. A few things in the ad had me laughing. Yes, the headlights are ugly! Not a bad truck though.
  16. Don't know of this is a repost. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=151091290991
  17. Great! Ive been using different ones like this lately. Some work ok, some dont. Ill have to give this one a try.
  18. Plenty beautiful TBSSs for sale on tbssowners.com. nice catch. I thought about trading you for mine. Wife stopped me though. Lol
  19. The shift selector bolts to the trans pan. Is electronic, hence the electronic gear display on dash. On the TBSS (regular TBs too) the bushing will break and the cable will just hang, leaving you on whatever gear it was in before you tried to shift. Ask me how I know.... Lol. Never can tell. Just get under there and check it out
  20. Check your bolts on the shift selector. Check your bushing also
