hirdlej
Cares, will it work with my regcab shortbox 2wd truck without mods? Also do you still have your SS rims for sale?? Thanks! Joe
creederado
Cares, will it work with my regcab shortbox 2wd truck without mods? Also do you still have your SS rims for sale?? Thanks! Joe <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The stock SS exhaust has two pipes from the cat pipe into the muffler. Your reg cab (5.3) I presume, has one into the muffler. Also The fact the SSS exhaust has a longer intermediate pipe(s) due to the extended cab portion of the truck compared to the reg cab portion of your truck. From the muffler back the hangers should be the same. If you grab a Stock sss exhaust you'll have to shorten the intermediate pipes and turn your single y-pipe(cat pipe) into a dual set up found on the SSS. By adding the SSS system On a Stock breathing 5.3 you may gain alittle but may loose some grunt down low, or maybe not.
