chadillac Posted August 21, 2013 Report Share Posted August 21, 2013 Avid gun guy here, I'm looking into getting an SS in the next 6-8 months. My question is how much room is there under the rear seat of the SS. My friend has a newer Silverado and can keep quite a lot of crap back there but I'm not sure how much there is in the 03-06 Silverado's, specifically the SS. What I want to keep back there: AR Pistol (about 27" long) Small rig with magazine pouches 2 day get home bag filled Full medical kit Doable? I am also planning on purchasing a bakflip tonneau cover for it that locks for the bed. I would rather keep that stuff closer and easier to get to but I could keep my long guns back there. I want an SS for sure now. i listen to alot of country along with other types of music and you would be surprised about some of the base in the country songs, i have 2 10" under my seats and some of those country songs sound sweet!
