canadianVRss
Has anybody else seen these? They're like a OBX header, same hump and everything, but with 1 7/8 primaries. I can imagine the plug wires would be even harder to get to do to the larger primary tubing, well that's what it looks like anyways. Still in 304 stainless, but a even cheaper price. Too bad they're for 4.8/5.3. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/STAINLESS-RACING-MANIFOLD-HEADER-Y-PIPE-EXHAUST-YUKON-SIERRA-CHEVY-SUBURBAN-GMC-/190754520174?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c69dafc6e&vxp=mtr&_uhb=
BLOWN SS/T
Why not just run pacesetters and forget about that hump? They have a 1 7/8 black header for low $300 n coated for mid 400s and you can run duals with your own style mid pipe. It says 4.8 and 5.3 cuz of the y pipe setup. And it's $150 for shipping lol but also noticed from your link it's setup for Canada so it might be cuz of that. When I was installing my LT's a couple weeks ago I saw the 1 7/8 for $300 and almost bought them to replace the 1 3/4 lol but had gone through too much work to swap them without even tunnig them. But I'll eventually get them when I need the extra push.
Brentd
I just dont get why they all are 2 1/2"....if they would have been 3" i prolly would have considered them just because they probably look good under the hood... But i chose function over form...1 3/4 but that is fine, my truck is pretty much stock and am glad i didnt shift my peaks higher in the band

canadianVRss
EBay always gots crazy deals! Lol this ^^^ I've already been running OBXs for 3 years. Pacesetters wouldn't last up here. Plus the OBXs have flanges that are ball socket type and mid piping as well. I was just curious if anyone else seen these and tried them. They're a pretty good deal. I just dont get why they all are 2 1/2"....if they would have been 3" i prolly would have considered them just because they probably look good under the hood... But i chose function over form...1 3/4 but that is fine, my truck is pretty much stock and am glad i didnt shift my peaks higher in the band 3" collected would be nice but 2.5" still allows quite a bit of flow. Brentd
Yea....but it pretty much means you have to run duals...thats is why I like 3", you can run a single exhaust, and that is what I wanted to run.
Blown 346
You can still run the factory size exhaust as long as you use a Y pipe I also agree, Pacesetters wont last and will rust out in a few years. In my opinion, Pay for headers once and buy a good name brand, yea you will pay a little more but the quality in the metal and coating will be there.
