sprayed99
sounds like it could be a few things. 1. The machined hole in the rail for the injector is larger than spec and it is not sealing properly 2. The O-ring was cut or had an imperfection on it. Pull it back apart and look at the oring and also measure the bore against the others in the rail.
Badbowtie247
Ok sounds good but the O ring doesn't have a cut in it or anything that's why I'm baffled on why it's not sealing properly
Blown 346
Are you sure the injector is seated? and the rail is bolted down evenly?
Badbowtie247
Yes that's why I'm like Wtf lol and I just put these fast o rings on nd drove it for two days no leaks then this happens
Blown 346
If it didnt leak before and now it is. Something is off by a hair. When you say leaking, how much? Like drips or fuel streaming out?
Badbowtie247
Just tryed lubing it again nd streaming out
Blown 346
I have had a few injectors that needed a little more umph to get seated in the rails. Some went in smoothly some didnt. I would double check the O rings. When you check them dont just go by looking at them without stretching them a small amount and rolling them around in your fingers. The smallest crack wont be seen unless you flex them. Are you using the locks on the injectors as well? canadianVRss
Some of the O-rings are different sizes believe it or not. I ordered spacers to lengthen my LS3 length injectors and the supplied O-rings were too big. The FAST rails could need larger O-rings. Kinda weird though. Badbowtie247
I have accel 39.7 lbs injectors should I try the ls3 o rings on those? Are they thicker than the fast o rings?
canadianVRss
You may as well. It doesn't take that long to swap O rings. You could also swap one from a injector that is sealing and that'll tell you if it's the few rail or that one O ring that's in there now.
