Stitches040
Hey All ... I guess it's about time ... After 16 years in Law Enforcement, and all the crazies I deal with out there, I finally have decided to buy my first firearm for my residence. I have purchased all the needed assembly kits for the AR-15. The only thing that I still need to purchase, is the Lower Receiver (Just doing a little more research) ... It's not going to be the "Top of the Line" for my first build. It's coming in at around $600.00 with all parts shipped. The Lower Receiver needs to be shipped to my FFL, but he does the transfers cheap ... I'll post up some pics as we go ... Buying the majority of it all through Palmetto State Armory - http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/ Honestly ... the reason why ...??? ... Just Because .. Gamecock84
I finished a high end build of a 6.5 Grendel. Came out awesome. It is fun picking and choosing what you want in the weapon system. Took two caribou in Alaska with that gun as well.

How about a bigger version of your avatar pic.? Pic's of your rifle build would be cool too. Gamecock84
Hey Johnny. I'm using the mobile app so idk if I can load up the pics now but I can later from my computer. First caribou was 275 yards and the second was 400yds. The later one is in the avatar. Using factory Hornady 123gr SST. Nightforce NXS scope. It was almost too easy

avtonomb
Better stock up on ammo. Very fun rifle to shoot! 500 rounds in a day is easy to go through. Look into a Slide-Fire stock. Not pretty or really practical but the fun factor is off the charts.

Stitches040
Hey All ... Well I received all my parts, and the other night, I finally put together my AR-15. I must say, I am extremely happy with Palmetto State Armory. Their quality is top notch, especially for the price. I ended up with an Aero Precision lower. I got a blemished unit for $75.00 shipped. Four of us scrutinized the lower, and could not find any blemish. They are now up for sale at $65.00 shipped from Aero directly ... As you can see by the photos. There is nothing to worry about. I'm into this AR-15 for a grand total of $545.00 shipped (all parts). The only thing I have added, is a MAGPUL MBUS2 sight for $41.00 shipped ... So for under $600.00, I feel I have a nice little gun for the price .
