coal miner
I got my truck to top out as fast as it would go and the needle is stuck where it stopped at. Do I need to go ahead and take it apart and replace the gauge? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Blown 346
The stepper motor needs replacing. GM gauge guy on her AKA Silverado 777 does great work and gives a lifetime warranty.

Blown 346
You can find them on ebay, but Im not sure of their quality. Otherwise go GM, as they would have a warranty on them.
coal miner
Think I should do them all or just the speedo?
Blown 346
If one went its just a matter of time before another goes. I would do them all if it were me. My luck they one would go, I would fix it and another would go.

1quicktruck
I bought a kit from EBAY but it took my about 2hrs to do one and then the next week another one went south. Do them all and I had mine done and had LEDs installed. Here locally about 130. There are some good stepper motors on EBAY but some are not good. The ones I bought said made in the USA and were white. I think some are made across the sea and they may not be as good. I think I paid about 30USD for 5 or 6 stepper motors. The original stepper motors were bad in a lot of the GM products starting around 2002 thru 2006 I think maybe more.
