SuperSport6.0
Pacesetter 1 7/8 long tube ceramic coated, heat wrapped, into stock cats, into di/do magnaflow 22", dumped or side exit. What else to do ? Or need ?
cb2big4u
X pipe or h pipe? Or is it built into the muffler? I wouldn't worry about wrapping the headers if they are ceramic coated. Guess you could but its prob 50$ that could be saved. Get new factory gaskets for the headers or reuse the old ones. Sent using Tapatalk. SuperSport6.0
Ive read Pacesetters won't go into cats?? What to do?
Blown 346
Wrapping the headers wont be a issue as you want to keep as much heat in. Coating does this to a point, but its basically to protect the header material and for looks. Cats would have to be welded in place.

SuperSport6.0
Can i reuse old cats ?? Into pretty much the same place? Pacesetters, old cats an stock pipe to magnaflow dumped....
GI.SS
You can if your dead set on using them. Just have to cut and move them then redo your mid pipes. Of you plan on cats a high flow aftermarket would be much better performance wise than factory cats
SuperSport6.0
Will high flow cats pass emissions ? Pacesetter long tube, high flow cats, di/do magnaflow dumped. Is what I want but will it pass emissions ?
Blown 346
Good High flow cats should all pass emissions. The exhaust routing, muffler doesnt matter with passing. Its the cats and 02's working that make it pass.
Downeast Johnny
If you do wind up having to have the cats welded in you've got to ask how long your used cats are going to last. If you weld in the old cats and one clogs in a year your gonna be bummed, (Or at least I would be).

SuperSport6.0
What's a good brand of high flow cats?
Blown 346
There are several out there. It all depends on size and price.
BLOWN SS/T
What state are you in? Here in California we can't mess with the cats, we have a smog and visual inspection that is tough. But I still run a cat less exhaust system. If you want to run all out performance then find a way around emmisons and run no cats, if that's not an option then run high flow cats. Either way you'll your headers into 3" or neck down from collectors into a 2.5" and then you'll need a crossover mid pipe x,h,y whatever floats your boat, then run 3" or 2.5" into a di/do or di/so si/do si/si muffler and turn down or run out the back. You'll need an exhaust shop that can fab up the pipes for you, mandrel bends preferbly. If your gonna run a cat less system talk to the shop first and ask if they'll work on it without cats, shops in Cali that mandrel bend usually won't touch the exhaust on a cat less system.
