ocelot729
I'm curious if anyone has done or looked into how much it would cost to have that Tundra style rear window that goes up and down? curious because the Silvy is becoming more of a show n go style truck... Blown 346
Depends on where you get one thru and if the is one for our trucks. My bet would be well over a grand, just for the glass if you had a rear defroster put in.
ocelot729
Yeah, looking for a rear window to roll up and down like a Tundra, hell if it would only cost a $1000 - $2000 I would be down.
Blown 346
I would assume thats only for the back glass, considering the fixed glass on our trucks is about 1K to replace. Not the install and other modifications that have to be done to protect the glass that rolls down. Normally that glass rolls down in between the cab and the inside plastic. Id bet youd be looking at over $3K for everything. ocelot729
That's what I assumed the price would be, problem is finding a custom shop that knows how to do it and do it right ya know, as much as the thought of custom windows all around in the truck has my interest peak, I do not want to see the bill of modifing the back half doors to put roll up / down window in lieu of the flip out / vent style windows. the NNBS truck got it right on that deal, wish ours did. I'm probably looking at $4200+ I'm sure. ehh, if I found a shop that would do it I'd check 'em out. I wasn't sure if anyone had already tried this on a truck before and had some knowledge on it I would assume thats only for the back glass, considering the fixed glass on our trucks is about 1K to replace. Not the install and other modifications that have to be done to protect the glass that rolls down. Normally that glass rolls down in between the cab and the inside plastic. Id bet youd be looking at over $3K for everything.

Blown 346
Im sure a good fabrication shop would do it. Its just the cost factor on your end.
