About a year or so into ownership, the driver side was hit on both doors by a lady turning into the parking spot next to me. This gave me the chance to get it painted in the silver birch color that I was seeing every now and then on the regular silverados(boy that changed quickly, silver trucks were everywhere not long after). The black paint was in horrible condition from me not washing it properly, swirls marks and scratchs all over it, and the silver color doesn't show dust or road grime near as bad.
