SS&Sierra_84 Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 I contacted BORLA trying to get exhaust for my SS. Asked me for engine size and told them 6.0 The guy at Borla informed me they dont have anything for the Silverado in 6.0 only thing they had for 6.0 was headers. I told him I have headers. He said I dont think you can do it. I said I have seen a SS with borla exhaust and he said the biggest size they have is 5.3. I am trying to figure out what all I can do to fix this issue. I am going to be running the pipes out in front of the rear tires and put on my dual factory tips. Anybody else out there have BORLA Cat Backs on their SS?? BLOWN SS/T Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 It's cuz from the factory these trucks came with dual into one single muffler and then a y into an exhaust tip. I'd build my own exhaust. Just decide if you wanna run an x or y pipe as your merge and order a muffler as needed and route your tail pipe where ever you want it to exit.
