hvictor.crow
I have a problem. My engine light is on. Took it to Autozone and the code that comes up is a vacuum leak. Its the code that says it could be one or the other, your gas cap or a vacuum leak. Now I changed the gas cap had the light turned off. The light has come back on. Does anyone have a clue what the vacuum code could be under the hood?
BLOWN SS/T
What's the code? Did autozone make any recommendations? If it's one of the common codes, then probably the purge valve or canister.
BLOWN SS/T
And try spraying some brake cleaner in the engine compartment with engine running and if it stalls anywhere you spray then there's a leak in that area
Fireman31
First things first, get it scanned again and let us know what code it is......
Blown 346
I also agree with the possibility of the purge valve sticking. Instead of replacing the whole unit, I used compressed air in the valve itself and freed it up. Never had the problem again.
