What has been keeping me busy the last 2 years

Well this weekend I gutted my bathroom. It took about 4 days, but we got it all back together.

This was a huge pain in the butt, we ran into a few problems, but nothing that we could not handle.

The bathroom had these really ugly plastic tiles on the bottom half of the wall which we removed, and we covered the adhesive with new Vinyl wainscoating.

The Sub floor under the cheap linoleum flooring was completely saturated from the toilet leaking. We got it down to the sub floor sheeting and had to replace some of it as well, luckily the floor joists were not wet at all. There was a second layer of linoleum flooring that i believe kept the entire floor from rotting. We also could not get the old cast iron tub out so it had to be destroyed with a sledge hammer.

Put a new steel tub in, as well as new flooring. Since this house is not worth that much and we are just trying to get it to sell, we decided to go with Heavy duty vinyl flooring. We also put in a nice shower surround. We had a ton of problems with that. I bought one at Home Depot about 6 months ago, when we opened it up there was a huge crack in one of the corners so I took it back, got my money back, went to grab another one just like it and it was also cracked. Then I ran around to a couple different stores to find a different one, and none of them would work. So I went back to HD and it took them 45 min to pull 2 more off of a top shelf that were also broken, then finally the last one in the store was not broken so I took that one. Luckily HD made it up to me and took $75 off. It was also a pain to install, as you will see we had to come up with a system to put pressure on it to make sure it stuck to the walls.

Thanks. Almost done with everyting. I just need to patch siding and re-paint the exterior, and we can get it on the market. I just talked to my cousin who is the real-estate agent that will be selling it, and she said she already has a buyer that may be interested. So I have to get her done ASAP.
