Crazy question, new front diff - maybe add slip lock additive?

Any reason to add or specifically not to add slip lock additive? I'm asking because i really don't know. I have product in hand, just wondering if i should throw it in the mix.

No, the front is an open diff. So just gear oil with no additive. Same with the rear. No additive there either

I always add it to mine. I was told it's not needed but since 05 I've changed mine every year and put the additive. Each to there own.

You deffinitly don't need it in the front diff because as said it is an open diff. If anything look into adding a diff cooler if you do alot of highway driving. As for the rear the Gov-Lock uses no additive and if you add it in the mix it can cause the system to stay locked when it should be releasing.
