You wont regret it. There is a show in Tahoe that is pretty good the week before the Reno show. The show in Reno is amazing. You can stay in the nice cool Tahoe area and drive into Reno for the show. I hear august is a good time Thanks! I stay on the North side of the lake. Best spot for Tahoe would be south lake. If your looking for a more live atmosphere then Reno would be the place which sits just 30 minutes away from Tahoe. And yess, Reno is the place to be for Hot August Nights.
