AMERMUSCLE289
Hi all, I have a couple of questions. I recently purchased a 2003 Silverado SS. My key fob #1 went bad, so I got I went to the Chevrolet dealer, and they replaced it with the correct #1 key fob. The car sat in the driveway for about 4 months over the winter. I just started driving the car now, and the key fobs seem to be backwards. What I mean is that when I unlock the car with fob #1, the car is set for driver #2 when I start it, and if I open the car with fob #1, the car is set for driver #2. Does anyone know what could have caused this? As far as I can remember, it worked properly before. Additionally, I am trying to set the Driver Information Center settings for driver #1. However, I couldn't figure out how to open the settings for driver #1. I only saw the settings for driver #2. Anybody know how to do this? Thanks! battousai
The numbers mean basically nothing, it is the order they were programmed in. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
1BAD2K
Crack them open and swap the internal circuit board of the fobs. It doesn't have screws or anything. Once you pop them open, the internals fall out.
