PittySS
I installed OBX longtube headers with no cats into the Corsa catback system, full 3" all the way. My question is how can i make this exhaust sound better? Resonator? Or because the Corsa is designed to be used with stock manifolds & cats, should i swap out the Corsa for a different muffler? I dont mind how loud it is, it just makes a poppy echo sound.... Give me some ideas please! Eric
NTMD8R_SS
I installed high flow cats and made a huge diffrence but a bullet type muffler in front of the corsa will also help eliminate the rasp. Do you have the sport or touring?

Do you have the sport or touring? The 3" prob didn't help either. Cats or some bullet mufflers should clear it up.
teamvortec
I also just installed a set of obx headers with their high flow cats, but I have factory exhaust. It sounds a little different now and also has the popping sound when I let off the throttle at higher rpms.
porksoda
I installed a 3" powerstick in front of the Corsa. Sounds perfect with my longtubes and no cats. Plus it doesn't neck down as the powerstick has a true 3: flow path.
Blown 346
I agree on using high flow cats. That will remove the rasp and popping.
kcsilveradoss
I have ARH 1 7/8 headers (no cats) and corsa sport and it sounds like a farm truck on a lug in third.
PittySS
I have the sport Corsa system. I recently changed out the corsa dual tip for a 3.5'' in / 4.5'' out rolled edge tip, its made for diesels but it took the raspy air tearing sound away. Problem solved!
