BLOWN SS/T
How long was your truck sitting for? With the pulley job started, since Tuesday. Sitting in general, I haven't really driven it in about 3 weeks or more, but I try and at least start it every week or 2 when it I'm not using it. BLOWN SS/T
Just started it up before leaving to work for a few seconds, and didn't hear any sounds.
12'SROCK
Probably just the lifters pumping up
BLOWN SS/T
Probably just the lifters pumping up I hope so, you think there's any reason to pull the valve cover off? Couldn't really tell but sounded more on the passenger side. Almost sounded like a bad ls1 engine in a freinds car, and it had a bad lifter. But it was gone after it reached temp. When I get home tonight I'll check it out, probably won't end up taking it to the track to be on the safe side, Friday the 13th lol and DA has been around 2400 in the evening last couple days. Thanks
JC03SS
Probably just the lifters pumping up Could be. I have heard it before on these engines after sitting for awhile. I wouldn't be scared to drive it.
