You might want to make friends with a body guy at the shop you bring it to. A lot of those guys will moonlight and paint things on the side for a fraction of the price. I assume that yours is so expensive because more than one panel will need to be painted in order to blend the paint in. I learned this the hard way a few weeks ago when I had a local shop do some work for me. Goes without saying, the wrong shop will make your vehicle look worse than it did when it went in.
