sswolfpac Posted June 27, 2014 Report Share Posted June 27, 2014 Had to go over 100 miles for work when got there truck was leaking some fluid. .didnt have time to check due to job. Made it home n went to chevy. Under carriage was fine no oil tranny power steering eaks. They said condenser to ac might drip due to heat. I havent run my ac so is this natura to happen any thoughts. Downeast Johnny Posted June 27, 2014 Report Share Posted June 27, 2014 A/C system won't condensate if it's not turned on. Was your leakage "oily" or watery? I would look for the highest point in the engine compartment that it shows up. Could be power steering fluid, engine coolant, brake fluid, (Although you would probably figure that one out pretty quick), engine oil, T-case fluid. You can try cleaning everything up and then drive a short distance and look for fluid, (and where it is coming from), then keep on driving short distances and rechecking till you find the leak.
