mando28
Anyone running this stall on a 03 SS as a daily driver how does if feel?? Is there a big difference on the track? Is the main point of this being able to launch at a higher rpm on the track? I'm mostly stock besides arh headers, volant cai, 160 start on the thermostat housing and a tune
AugustBurnsRed19
You are gonna want to get a smaller cam with a 3000 stall like a 224 224. I would recommend at least a 3600 stall for a big truck like this most people wish they went with a 3600 but as long as you pick a good cam with it you will be fine. Yes there is a diffrence driving and launching. With my 3k stall n cam I'm consistently 1.8 1.83 60ff times.
GI.SS
The Tt series is going to be a much tighter converter. I believe it's their power adder series
Fireman31
*Topic moved to correct section* Before choosing a TC, you need to think about your future goals. If you don't plan on forced induction or engine internals, a 3000-3200 stall is a good match that will really wake up an SS with a stock motor. If you do plan on serious power mods, you may want a higher stall. Also, stay away from the TT series Yank converters as they do not have a good track record with these trucks. Stoshball
I've been looking into a yank performance truck series 3600 for my truck (Procharged) they are expensive but the tc is not the thing you want to go cheap on you will regret it.
