SShanks
I'm about to throw on a Circle D 278mm 3200 stall torque converter on my truck pretty soon then I want to do a cam swap. I'm wanting a good street/strip cam that would work well with the TC and current mods. I'm just wanting to get in the low to mid 13's and might swap the intake in the future. If you guys have a good idea for a cam for this setup, feel free to share. Just trying to get my build all planned out. Thanks..
JC03SS
Def gonna have to do an intake an TB to get low to mid 13's. Best bet would be have a custom cam made to work with that stall and all your mods.
12'SROCK
224/230 cam would be good since you are going to need a biased exhaust cam due to the fact that you have shorty headers.
SShanks
I plan on switching to LT's in the near future as well. What about a 224/228 .575/.588 112 lsa?
SShanks
What about this one? https://www.texas-speed.com/p-1147-texas-speed-224228-581588-camshaft.aspx

I'm running near the same 224/228 .581 .588 114LSA with -2* valve overlap

Fireman31
You will need a bigger stall than a 3200 with that cam.....
canadianVRss
Did it all at the same time. Fireman is right a 3600 would be better.
SShanks
I'm starting to lean towards a Yank SS series 3600. Says its rated for 650 rwhp.
