chevyman57
i was wondering if any one else has had this same problem too. i have installed this cover on my newly painted truck and found out that the cover was rubbing on the side bed rails.i went and re adjusted it again and it still rubs.do u think that it is possible that because i do not have the locks installed as of yet .wanted to polish them up first before putting them back on the top.do u think that if installed that they would keep the cover from moving around? so do u think because of them not being on would be the cause of it shaking or vibrating back and forth ? 90zxdriver
I think it is just what happens with bed covers. Mine has worn the paint down to bare metal in some spots and I have had it adjusted twice by the dealer. The bed covers just vibrate when going down the road. Akslowroller
I don't have a Gaylord's cover but my gem top does the same thing. If I repAint I am going to put a thing strip of rubber on the bed to try and prevent it from happening again.
